Believe it or not Spring is around the corner. The crocuses and daffodils are beginning to stir despite being well out of site. And like these flowers, many of us are beginning to think about our cars despite being huddled in front of the fireplace. Our “pride and joy” is waiting for us to cherish and enjoy it on the warm days ahead.
Yep, it’s about that time…to start getting excited about the year ahead! The Board met at the beginning of February and began the process of mapping out the year. Needless to say, it will be touch and go as we wait to see what outcomes result from the vaccination process and the recent governor’s proclamation. That said, we do want to do what we can to reconnect.
We’ll begin with the Battery Post and invite members to share stories. It can be about your car or any topic you care to share. In addition, we’ll have some interactive activities and games. Be sure to check out the article by Wade Krieg in 2021 January/February issue! You can download on the About Us page.
In March, we’ll monitor the weather and hope for an opportunity to have a picnic or meet at an outdoor restaurant. Notice will be short on this as the weather forecasting window is only seven days, but let’s see what happens.
I’m excited to see all of you, to hear how your winter went and to enjoy good times with each of you again.
Take care and all the best,
Scott
